Do It Yourself Wills Kit

Our DIY Wills Kit includes our standard Will and Codicil templates. The Will template can be easily customised and is suitable for an individual making a Single Will or by a couple when creating a set of Joint Wills.

Updating an existing Will can be done using a Codicil. The Codicil is a short document that sets out any variations that you wish to make to your existing Will. This can be useful when your family cisrcumstances change, for example as a result of the birth of a grandchild or in the event of a divorce. However, larger changes should be made by way of a new Will.

Using the DIY Will Kit

When completing a Will or a Codicil you must make sure that the documents are signed in the presence of a witness. This must not be a beneficiary of the Will as this would invalidate any gifts made to them under the Will or Codicil.

Our free online document storage facility on our website means you can edit and store your Will documents online once logged in. When you have edited the documents to suit your needs and downloaded them, you can print them off and take them to a Solicitor or simply to your witness to be signed and witnessed appropriately.

Clauses in our DIY Wills Kit

You can preview our Will template on our Will template page. The Will contains optional clauses to cover all of the standard types of Gift and other provisions that should be covered by the Will. You can therefore tailor it to your needs, whilst being confident of the legal enforceability of the terms and structure used.
