Tenancy at Will Agreement
Our Tenancy at Will Agreement is ideal for letting UK property for a short period of time or where the parties agree that the tenancy can be ended by giving the other party a short period of notice. The agreement template is far simpler and shorter than a longer form Lease Agreement. The Tenancy at Will does not contain the detailed clauses that you would expect to find in a longer term lease of commercial property. By granting a Tenancy at Will, the tenant will not receive any form of long term security of tenure as the provisions of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 do not apply to a Tenancy at Will. The landlord can therefore terminate the tenancy on giving the tenant the amount of notice agreed to in the Tenancy at Will Agreement. If you are unsure as to whether this type of tenancy agreement is the right one for you then you will find our guide to Choosing a Tenancy at Will, Lease or Licence useful.
Using our Tenancy at Will Agreement Template
A Tenancy at Will is generally used where only basic terms such as rent, tenancy period, deposit and notice need to be set out in a written agreement. Our Tenancy at Will template does not therefore usually need much editing but the agreement is designed to be fully customisable and can be quickly edited to suit your specific requirements, if needed. You can re-use the Tenancy at Will template as many times as you require. The agreement can be stored and managed online in your free online document storage centre or downloaded to your computer.
Clauses in this Tenancy at Will Agreement Template
The Tenancy at Will template contains all of the standard provisions that you would expect to find and you can see a preview of the document before you buy by using the "Preview" function above.
An alternative to a Tenancy at Will where only limited rights are to be granted over the property is a Licence to Occupy. We also offer a number of other types of Commercial and Business Lease Agreements.
